The Plymouth County Commissioners are pleased to announce the extension of the Cooperative Procurement Offering of Public Service and Municipal Vehicles with Equipment Options to April 30, 2017. The Program saves your municipality money while complying with all aspects of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 7, section 22B and Chapter 30B. There are vehicles from Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge/Chrysler and Toyota. The vehicles are offered as a base package and you can add options as you need. There are over 100 different vehicle models and thousands of option combinations. Many municipalities have already received vehicles under this bid.This is a rolling admission program, so no town is locked out of ordering. To take advantage of this great opportunity, your municipality or organization must join the bidding participant list by completing a short application (see attached) and submitting a small fee per participating municipality each year. Please note that when a town joins all town departments are eligible to participate. For example when a town joins their police, public works, and fire departments are permitted to purchase as well. Hundreds of towns are signed up already to our bid list.
