What’s New for the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?
The Wrangler 4xe is an all-new plug-in hybrid model. It’s engineered to offer an especially great blend of performance and efficiency. Under the hood rests an all-new hybrid turbocharged engine. Jeep rates it to develop an exciting 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. No other Wrangler model offers quicker acceleration. According to Jeep, you’ll also be able to travel up to 400 miles before needing to refuel. An estimated 25-mile electric driving range makes the new Wrangler 4xe even more eco-friendly.
Like the rest of the lineup, the new Wrangler 4xe boasts legendary off-road capabilities. A Selec-Trac 4WD system and solid axles come standard. Even the base model provides an impressive 10.1 inches of ground clearance. Other important off-road goodies include front/rear tow hooks, heavy-duty skid plates, and available 33-inch tires.
While the Wrangler 4xe looks similar to other Wrangler models, there are a few special touches that set it apart. Electric Blue accents help the Wrangler 4xe to make a bold statement. On the inside, a dashboard-mounted charging indicator and a model-specific gauge cluster further distinguish the Wrangler 4xe. A plethora of other premium features will be offered, including an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration.
